Drive power in frame size 055
New PSBN055, PSN055 and PSFN055 compact precision gearboxes from Neugart The increasing demand for compact servo drives in mechanical engineering has led to a corresponding need for smaller gearboxes that are suitable for these drives. In response to this market need, Neugart is introducing three new precision planetary gearboxes in frame size 055: the PSBN055, PSN055, and PSFN055. These new additions extend the proven capabilities of the Precision Line portfolio. The three new models, PSBN055, PSN055, and PSFN055, are helical gearboxes from the Precision Line PSN, PSFN, and PSBN series in frame size 055. Please note that the frame size refers to the square dimension or centering collar diameter of the output flange, which in this case measures 55 mm in width. Despite their compact dimensions, the gearboxes offer high torque density and high precision in the smallest of installation spaces. These gearboxes are well-suited for use in electronically controlled servo drives of small handling units in packaging and many other machines. All three new developments are available with one or two stages and a range of ratios from i=3 to i=100. These models feature a rotary shaft seal and are rated to protection class IP65. Moreover, their planetary carriers feature a cage design, which greatly enhances the construction's torsional stiffness. Additionally, the torsional backlash can be reduced by 2 arcmin at the customer's option. Individual design details While the three new models share many similarities, they also feature key differences that make them ideal for specific applications. The PSBN055 and PSN055 models feature a smooth output shaft (with either a smooth design or a feather key), a square-type output flange, and robust deep groove ball bearings or preloaded tapered roller bearings. The PSBN055 impresses with its economy and efficiency.

Drive solutions with ASi-5
AS-Interface (ASi) has long been an established feature of drive control. This is where the advantages of the globally standardized wiring system are especially conspicuous: the simplest installation thanks to the piercing technology, free selection of topologies, high flexibility and low costs. For many years Bihl+Wiedemann has been offering the ideal drive solution for many different applications – including roller drives, AC drives with and without frequency converter, as well as for 24 V motors. Our range of solutions is focused on leading manufacturers such as Lenze, SEW-Eurodrive, Itoh Denki, Interroll, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS and RULMECA. We also develop custom ASi solutions on request.

Drive Technology
TIVAL Sensors Softstarters ESA series stand for a low-wear and gentle machinery and facility start-up. Our soft starters are reducing starting current and torque of three-phase asynchronous motors. High mechanical stress on shafts, chains, belts, gears or conveyor belts is avoided by cutting off the peak voltage and prevention from jerky movements. On pump applications in particular the soft-stop-function perfectly avoids pressure shocks in pipeline networks. TIVAL Sensors offers soft starters with 3- or 2-phase circuitry for various loads and functions. The available nominal current range values start at 8 A and finish at 3500 A. For effective and zero-wear breaking of three-phase asynchronous motors we offer DC injection breaks. Various types are available for engine power from 5 to 200 KW.

DTS+ Track System
The DTS+ track system incorporates key features of Hepco’s PRT track system and original DTS, combining them with a high load capacity connection for carriages to the drive belt. The carriages will not disengage from the belt, allowing transmission of higher driving forces compared to the original DTS conveyor system. Whilst the original DTS will often be the right choice for many applications, the DTS+ is suitable for applications with high loads, a vertical orientation, or where the free space inside the track circuit is required to integrate additional equipment.
DTS2 High Speed Driven Track System
The DTS2 High Speed Driven Track System has been developed for high-speed applications. The use of a scroll drive allows rapid indexing to be achieved with superior positional accuracy without the risk of carriage disengagement. The track system is available with three sizes of slide section (25mm, 44mm and 76mm).

Durchflusssensoren
EGE Durchflusssensoren besitzen ein integriertes Messrohr, das „In‐line“ in einer Rohrleitung montiert wird. DWB - Leistungsschalter (MCCB) IEC
DWB Leistungsschalter wurden für den Einsatz in Energieverteilern, zum Kabel- und Leitungsschutz sowie für den Motor- und Generatorschutz entsprechend IEC 60947/DIN VDE0660 entwickelt. Bei einer Bemessungsbetriebsspannung bis zu 690 V AC oder 250 V DC stehen 6 kompakte Baugrößen in 3- und 4-poliger Ausführung zur Verfügung. Im Einsatzbereich von 16 bis 1600 A stehen Versionen mit einem Kurzschlussausschaltvermögen von 16 bis 80 kA bei 415V AC zur Verfügung.
