The IBH SoftPLC S7-315 / S7-416 executes a program in the same manner as a hardware PLC. The advantage of executing a PLC program this way is, that the PLC status can be displayed in real time. Since the Soft PLC behaves like a original SIMATIC PLC, the programming tools S7 for Windows®, STEP7 or the TIA portal can be used. Online connections can be established serial, via Ethernet, via PROFIBUS DP and directly on the same PC. Even for project engineering and diagnostics of the PROFIBUS DP S7 for Windows®, the original STEP7 tool or the TIA portal can be used. The program of a S7-PLC or a Siemens WinAC SoftPLC including PROFIBUS DP configuration can be transferred to the SoftPLC S7-315 / S7-416. Data exchange with the SoftPLC can be established with S7 for Windows®, Siemens STEP7 or the TIA portal. If the programming system is installed on the same PC, the SoftPLC can be reached directly. The necessary drivers are included. If a Hilscher CIF30/50/60 PROFIBUS card is used, the SoftPLC can be programmed or reached from an operator panel via the connected PROFIBSU, if the drivers are correctly configured.

Reliable switching with DC loads With the solid-state contactor PK 9265 from the POWERSWITCH series, Dold is expanding its range of semiconductor contactors for DC applications. The PK 9265 impresses with fast, wear-free switching without contact bounce, integrated overvoltage protection and resistance to vibrations. Thanks to MOSFET technology, low forward resistance and an integrated heat sink, the device is ideal for industrial use. Typical applications include controlling DC motors, in braking systems or with inductive loads in automation technology, as well as for DC isolation in connection with batteries, PV systems and backup power supplies. - Fast set-up due to integrated heat sink - Long lifetime

High switching frequency at minimum width The solid-state relay RK 9260 from the POWERSWITCH series is characterised by wear-free and noiseless switching of resistive loads. The device is suitable for industrial applications with high switching frequencies, such as plastic injection moulding machines, thermoforming and packaging machines. The RK 9260 can also be used to reliably switch the short but very high inrush currents in LED lighting. With increased data rates, power over data line and longer ranges with less use of resources, it is the key technology for the digitalisation of the field level. In order to meet the requirements of this area of application, HARTING will be presenting the T1 Industrial in a robust M12 interface at HANNOVER MESSE 2023. Both cables and device sockets now offer device developers and installers a suitably protected variant for sensor-to-cloud cabling. As usual with M12 interfaces, the robust metal housing offers excellent EMC protection and an IP protection class of 65/67.
