The new Motor Drive System IE5/IE6
The new Motor Drive System IE5/IE6 Performance in sync with energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness The first synchronous motor that is as easy to use as an asynchronous motor. The permanent magnet inside is intelligently designed to achieve high levels of efficiency and falls into the top energy efficiency classes IE5 and IE6. The drive system consisting of the m550 motor, g500 gearboxes and the current i550 and i650 generation of frequency drives performs remarkably also in dynamic applications. With the new "MC55 High," WERMA Signaltechnik continues the success story of the compact MC55 signal light series. The 55 mm diameter light has a higher dome, offering significantly better visibility – even from a greater distance or at unfavourable viewing angles. It can be flexibly integrated and is ideal for applications where status indicators must be in the operator's direct field of vision, such as on machines, conveyor belts, in robot cells, or on peripheral devices. "With the MC55 High, we have created a solution that seamlessly adapts to the requirements of modern industrial environments – visible from afar, eye-catching, flexible, and smartly expandable," says Daniel Kensy, Head of Development at WERMA. "The new design with a higher dome was developed specifically in response to feedback from our customers and represents the next logical step within the MC55 family." One-click solution for a wide range of applications With the MC55 High lights, customers get a modern, flexible, and powerful signal light. They are designed to function both as classic machine lights and as compact "one-click" solutions as an alternative to signal towers. The MC55 High can be installed in classic M30 mounting holes, surface-mounted or on various tube lengths. This means that the previous recessed light can now also be used as a surface-mounted variant for the first time – a significant gain in flexibility for designers and plant engineers. Typical applications for the MC55 High range from signalling machine statuses to manual workstations or access controls. Thanks to time-based escalation, the light first activates a visual signal in the event of a malfunction; if there is no response, an acoustic alarm automatically follows.

Maximum mobility with the highest level of safety up to Cat. 4 / PL e or SIL 3 The new wireless safety system RE 6900 from the SAFEMASTER W series is the perfect solution if you want to work safely and reliably in hazardous areas during maintenance or machine setup - with maximum mobility. The wireless enabling switch enables safe operation and prevents the unintentional initiation of dangerous movements, as only an activated centre position of the three-stage switch gives the wireless enable for machine movement. Releasing or pressing the switch interrupts the movement and triggers a safetyrelated shutdown. Thanks to its ergonomic design, the wireless enabling switch f its perfectly in the hand and allows intuitive one-handed operation - with maximum safety up to Cat. 4 / PL e or SIL 3. The wireless enabling switch is primarily used in robotics for service and maintenance work, while the wireless emergency stop is particularly convincing in large-scale facilities, transport or logistics areas - anywhere where a quick response from a distance is required.
