Precision Link Conveyor System - LS Link Compact
With the LS Link Compact, WEISS expands its portfolio of linear transfer systems with a compact and cost-efficient precision link conveyor system designed specifically for machine builders and serial machine manufacturers. The system bridges the gap between simple part conveying and complex custom solutions, enabling stable, cycle-synchronous downstream processing of lightweight workpieces up to 1.5 kg – particularly in automated applications such as cost-optimized injection molding automation. In many industrial applications, part removal is already automated, while downstream processes often lack consistent cycle synchronization. Conventional conveyor systems reach their limits, especially when high volumes, reproducible cycle times, and defined part positioning are required. This is exactly where the LS Link Compact comes in: With its discrete indexing, it ensures a clearly defined process logic and repeatable positioning. With up to 60 cycles per minute, transfer times of less than 0.3 seconds, and a positioning accuracy of ±0.1 mm, it provides the ideal foundation for efficient inline processes such as assembly, joining, and inspection. The modular system design allows for flexible setup and easy expansion of process stations. Its compact design, high adaptability, and production-ready architecture make it particularly attractive for high-volume applications. With the LS Link Compact, WEISS provides an industrial platform that enables the standardization, scalability, and cost-efficient implementation of modular processes – resulting in high-performance machine concepts that combine process reliability, flexibility, and investment security.

SafetySight Iridio safety camera
SafetySight Iridio is the innovative safety camera that integrates visual technology and advanced industrial safety. Following a request to restart the machine, it performs an automatic check of the area, detecting any operator motion before machinery start-up. This function reduces the risk of an operator in the danger area being involved in an accident caused by unexpected restart of the machine. SafetySight Iridio has a front-mounted RGB LED ensuring immediate communication of the device operating status through different colours for each operating mode. This enables to immediately verify the correct functioning of the system, thus facilitating operations and resolution of any anomalies. SafetySight Iridio is a complete safety device that interfaces with the rest of the system via digital outputs, so there is no need for a dedicated control device in the switching cabinet. Besides, it can be connected directly to any safety controller compatible with OSSD signals, thus reducing costs and installation complexity. This device is designed for safety levels up to SIL 2 acc. to IEC 61508 and PL d, cat. 3 acc. to ISO 13849-1. Dedicated Iridio Studio software has been designed for configuration and calibration of the device, guiding the user through the entire process in a few minutes. Through this software, it is possible to visually check the monitored area, identifying and excluding any zones outside the work area or any elements that may cause disturbance. The SafetySight Iridio device can effectively distinguish tampering attempts from scene changes due to non-critical environmental variations, such as parts of the machinery resting in a different position each time they stop. For applications that require monitoring of large or geometrically complex areas, it is possible to install multiple SafetySight Iridio devices. This modular architecture means the system can be adapted to the specific requirements of any installation.

Strong parts thanks to continuous fibre reinforcement
Continuous Filament Fabrication (CFF) is a patented technology that allows Markforged users to produce 3D printed components with extreme stability. With this technology, the continuous fibre is additionally inserted into the component via a second nozzle in the print head. It is called continuous fibre because it has only one start and one end point per layer. This allows you to achieve stabilities that are superior to milled aluminium in outstanding quality! Thanks to the supplied and optimally adjusted EIGER software, you can insert the continuous fibre individually per layer and, of course, also over the entire surface. Carbon, Kevlar, glass fibre and high-temperature glass fibre are available as continuous fibre reinforcement.
