    2. M1-EMP: New AC Drive with multiprotocol Ethernet support

M1-EMP: New AC Drive with multiprotocol Ethernet support

The M1-EMP inverter provides native connectivity to EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and Modbus TCP networks without the need for optional hardware boards, reducing both cost and installation effort. Sharing the same form factor as the existing M1-ECT EtherCAT model, the M1-EMP supports 10/100 Mbps half and full duplex communication. It enables cyclic messaging that can be used in either pre-configured or freely mapped modes, as well as non-cyclic messaging for full parameter access. An external 24 V DC backup supply further improves reliability by keeping communication active even if the main power is interrupted. The M1 AC Drives series offers a comprehensive set of capabilities. It supports flexible motor control for induction motors, permanent magnet motors and direct drive applications, while integrated position control with a gear function makes it suitable for a variety of motion tasks. Energy-saving features help reduce operating costs, and built-in safety functions such as Safe Stop 0 (STO SIL3 PLe) support compliance with strict safety requirements. For users working with EtherCAT, the series also includes a model with FSoE STO functionality. Configuration and monitoring are simplified thanks to seamless integration with OMRON’s Sysmac Studio software and the OMRON Drive App, which allow setup, parameter adjustment and diagnostics to be carried out quickly and consistently. Available in power ranges from 0.2 to 30 kW across single and three-phase versions, the M1 family is already used in diverse industries including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, material handling, environmental mobility, water treatment and energy. With the launch of the M1-EMP, OMRON extends this versatility by offering multiprotocol Ethernet communication as standard, ensuring easier integration into modern production environments.

    3. M12

      M12

M12 circular connectors are one of the most widely used sizes for circular connectors. The M12 size is available in coding variants for all industrial lifelines – for power, signals and data. IP65/67 protected and packaged in a rugged metal housing, they provide a completely reliable connection when used in demanding applications. With the M12 configurator, you can create customised cable assemblies for your application in just a few clicks. These are ready for despatch within 48 hours.

    4. M12 PushPull Circular Connector

      M12 PushPull Circular Connector

M12 circular connectors are one of the most widely used interfaces in automation. They are used wherever robustness and high protection must be guaranteed. The only drawback so far has been the time-consuming assembly. Installers have to check the secure connection with torque tools, which is time-consuming. The IEC standard 61076-2-010 finally brings an industry-wide uniform push-pull locking system for circular connectors in factory automation. Slow screwing was yesterday. With PushPull it's: Click & Connect! Connected simply, quickly and reliably. Regardless of whether the device socket is vertical or recessed, a PushPull locking system in accordance with IEC 61076-2-010 always gives device manufacturers the right solution from a single source.

    6. M2Smart® HMI10

      M2Smart® HMI10

Via the “functionally safe” radio connection, the M2Smart® HMI10 makes it possible to meet the high requirements in terms of safety equipment of a machine even with a wireless operating system. Both the emergency stop button, which is obligatory in this environment, and a three-stage enabling switch are located directly on the mobile HMI device. The corresponding signals are packaged in an encrypted “data packet” and transmitted to the M2Smart® Gateway via a Black Channel using Bluetooth. The M2Smart® HMI10 is also available as a wired version with 5 meters, optionally 10 meters.
