      TM30S

The TM30S streamlines heavy‑duty palletizing with long reach, stable motion, and certified collaborative safety for clean stacks on Euro and US pallets—no riser required. Built‑in vision, compact design, and intuitive setup keep cells flexible and move teams from trial to production quickly. With a 30 kg payload and 1702 mm reach, it maintains cycle consistency under load—enabling fast deployment and reliable throughput. Hardware enhancements Across the S Series, OMRON has introduced upgrades to increase durability and support faster redeployment. All robot arms now feature an IP65 rating for use in washdown or dust-prone environments. Higher-payload units (TM25S, TM30S) incorporate an integrated joint 6 force-torque wrist sensor for improved force-controlled processes. The updated Landmark 2.0 vision-based positioning system is designed to reduce recalibration time when moving robots between stations. TMflow 2.22 software release OMRON has also released TMflow 2.22, an update to its no-code programming environment. The new version introduces more granular safety configuration options, expanded remote monitoring and diagnostics, and a higher-fidelity simulation engine. Integrated vision tools have been strengthened to support inspection and pick-and-place tasks with greater accuracy. “By introducing the TM30S, TM20S, and TM6S alongside crucial upgrades like IP65 certification and the integrated joint 6 force torque sensor, we are empowering our customers to automate their most challenging, heavy-duty tasks with greater safety, precision, and flexibility than ever before. TMflow 2.22 ensures that this immense power remains easy to program and manage, upholding our commitment to harmonious automation,” said Qiqi Wang, Global Product Manager at OMRON Robotics and Safety Technologies. 3. TOM Sensormanagement für intelligente Zustandsüberwachung

      TOM Sensormanagement für intelligente Zustandsüberwachung

The diversity of sensor management If machines or other objects are equipped with sensors, they can be monitored automatically. Data is transferred quickly and reliably to maintenance software such as TOM at a specified interval. The maintenance technician can monitor the status of the machines directly via the software and thus saves a part of the working time through daily rounds and manual measurements. Based on the experience of the maintenance technician, standard and limit values are stored in the digital maintenance planner. If the sensors measure borderline conditions, an alarm is automatically raised. The maintenance engineer can react immediately and use the CMMS/CAFM software to analyze and evaluate the situation and initiate appropriate measures. The possible uses of sensor management are very diverse. In addition to the classic use in the industrial sector, sensors can also pave the way to predictive maintenance in facility management, in medicine and at supply and disposal companies.

    6. topGUARD

      topGUARD

The IO-Link-capable load monitoring system topGUARD offers remote control options, full data transparency, and reliable protection of the 24 V system voltage. 7. Torque-resistant ball bushings

      Torque-resistant ball bushings

Torque-resistant ball bushings for linear motion and simultaneous torque transmission Torque-resistant ball bushings or Ball splines are non-rotating round guides. In addition to transmitting linear motion, they can also transmit as well as support torques – even in narrow spaces. As opposed to conventional shaft guides, the ball spline is equipped with four axially parallel guiding groove races. The osculation of the balls in the raceways of bushing and grooved shaft, analogous to a profile rail guide, makes it possible to transmit significantly higher loads and torques compared to a conventional ball bushing. Thanks to the non-rotating bearing of the torque-resistant ball bushing it is not necessary to use, for instance, two parallel round guides or another form of support.
