The New GL-V Safety Light Curtain

The GL-V Series features full length, highly visible indicators to easily understand the light curtain's status at a glance. These indicators also provide built-in alignment assistance, making installation quick and easy. Wiring is simplified with standard M12 5-pin connectors and optional Y-connector, requiring only one cable back to the control panel. This series also has an incredibly fast response time, reducing the necessary mounting distance from the hazard. Additional features include network compatibility, no dead zones, high environmental resistance, and a durable, slim housing.

      Touch panel interface

At our 6 locations with our own factory (AU, DE, NZL, HUN, USA, BRA) we also rely on in-house designed and built systems such as this terminal box assembler. ➔ It is optimally tailored to our components and further processing into one of the finished “blue” switches. The connecting element between the system and the operator is our KN-C Wizard touch panel. Sandra Selch (Automation, Kraus & Naimer Austria) programmed the HMI for this task and is overseeing the project. 5. Two and a half minutes ...

… this is how long it takes to use this 83 metre long escalator - the socalled Tube - which transports visitors of the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg up to the 37 metre high plaza. According to the Finnish company KONE, this two-lane, convex-shaped escalator is “the longest escalator in Western Europe and worldwide the only one curved this way”. Whether the Tube is moving or not may only be decided by authorized employees who have the key to the Kraus & Naimer control switch (including a key locking device) at the bottom of the escalator. This helps to make sure that the Tube is not accidently switched on during repair work. As you can see, maximum safety is provided! in 2022, the Elbphilharmonie celebrates its 5th anniversary - a reason to proudly look into the future! Despite its relatively short existence, the Elbphilharmonie has already exceeded all expectations. The quality, density and variety of the program are all impressive. The spectacular building with its unique location between the harbor and the city centre is a real magnet for visitors. The viewing platform ‘Plaza’ on the 8th floor with its 360-degree view will celebrate its 15 millionth visitor in March 2022 - obviously only after a spectacular ride on the Tube. Welcome to BOPLA - Virtual tour of the company

At this time it is not possible for our customers to visit Bopla Gehäuse Systeme GmbH, so we are making it possible for them to experience our products and services in the form of virtual tours of the company. At every station of the tour, clickable texts and video information provide more information. This offer is available immediately to both customers and all interested parties. As Ralf Bokämper, BOPLA’s managing director, explains: “In normal times we regularly invite our customers to visit us in Bünde so that they can learn about our manufacturing possibilities and service offers. After all, what we do isn’t as easy as it looks at first sight.” However, the pandemic is making this type of personal customer care just as impossible as trade fairs, which are also an important way for BOPLA to interact with customers. Consequently, in order to be able to contact customers, the specialist for electronics enclosures is now offering two virtual tours of the company. The website provides an opportunity for customers to take a brief tour and to visit the most important production sectors, to use the 360° pan facility to inspect the relevant manufacturing department, and also to get a close-up view of the individual items. Clicking again on marked info points opens text windows with initial information and also additional links to catalogue pages and video clips. In order to have a detailed and guided tour of the entire company, it is necessary to arrange an appointment, but this is easily done with just a few clicks. All that is necessary for a virtual visit to BOPLA using a PC or a mobile device is an internet connection – there is no need for a separate app.

    8. Z+F AM UP6

      Z+F AM UP6

The AM UP6 is an electro-pneumatically driven stripper-crimper designed for the efficient processing of loose insulated Z+F wire ferrules. Its high flexibility regarding cross-sections and crimp lengths allows this machine to handle approximately 90% of the insulated wire ferrule variants encountered in control system construction and wire assembly. The machine processes nine freely selectable cross-sections ranging from 0.25 mm² to 6.00 mm² (AWG 24-10) with crimp lengths of 6, 8, 10, and 12 mm. A minimum insertion length of 25 mm plus the crimp length is required for processing.
