The new C450 stainless steel control enclosure is based on the already successful RMS stainless steel enclosure series and offers a simple alternative to costly self-made solutions. The C450 is characterized by the high surface quality, the high-quality handle variants and the large selection of different control enclosure sizes. The highlight of the C450 is the glued-in „reinforcing plate", which makes it possible that no welding spots are visible anymore. In addition, it has earthing lugs that can be bent up if necessary to create additional earthing points. The stainless steel material of the C450 control enclosure offers a high degree of customization through individual laser processing, different handle design versions and optional additional locking systems. In combination with the GTH easy support arm system, the C450 control enclosure offers the perfect solution for your individual requirements. The control system is particularly suitable for use in general mechanical and plant engineering with a focus on packaging machines as well as in areas of the food and luxury food industry.

Monitoring of system components is now widely used to increase system availability and carry out maintenance work cost-effectively. The focus is usually on external actuators and sensors, while the control cabinet as the heart of the system often receives less attention. However, the inside of the enclosure is also exposed to numerous hazards and the effects of ageing. Temperature, humidity, air pressure, vibration and shocks are typical environmental factors that can affect the service life of the enclosure. With a Cabinet Guard in the control cabinet, all this information can be monitored, analysed or alarms generated, completely independently of the PLC. The Cabinet Guard is configured conveniently via a web interface. The measured values can be easily forwarded to other components or higher-level systems (host computer, MES, cloud) via MQTT and ModbusTCP. At the same time, the measured values can be saved to an SD card for long-term recording, which also enables long-term evaluation of ageing phenomena. To improve the efficiency of the system, the recordings of the control cabinets of different machines can be compared and thus optimisation possibilities can be found in the design. Thanks to its distance sensor, the Cabinet Guard can also monitor the opening of the enclosure doors. The Cabinet Guard is therefore also an important sensor when considering the security of a machine.

Divider With an outside diameter of 140 mm, the R140X is quite spacious and easily accommodates numerous cables and hoses (up to 42 mm diameter) in its 3 chambers. Extremely convenient and comfortable: Swiveling brackets with snap locks make it easy to open and safely close the cable carrier – without any tools! Another benefit is hidden inside: A divider module helps to horizontally and vertically subdivide the chambers – for precisely separating cables and hoses. Delta-R expands its portfolio of cable sensors with heat-shrink tubing insulation. With this new range of coiled-head sensors, the temperature sensor specialist Delta-R has expanded its in-house manufacturing portfolio from purely customer-specific temperature sensors to include standard sensors. Cable sensors with heat-shrink tubing insulation, so-called coiled-head sensors, are used in thermal motor protection applications. These temperature sensors with heat-shrink tubing insulation are typically based on a Pt100 or Pt1000 element, which is extended in 2-, 3-, or 4-wire configurations and then insulated with high-voltage heat-shrink tubing. Depending on the required temperature resistance, the sensors are insulated with high-voltage heat-shrink tubing made of Kynar or PTFE. Depending on the voltage rating, the sensors are insulated with single or multiple layers. The required insulation strength determines the insulation length as well as the type and position of the heat-shrink tubing. Typically, the elements are extended with single-core stranded wire in the AWG 20 to AWG 28 range. UL-certified stranded wire is available from stock at Delta-R for many dimensions. The operating temperature range of cable sensors with heat-shrink tubing insulation is between -70°C and +260°C. Various connection techniques are possible. Delta-R prefers micro-welding as a connection method, as it requires no filler material. However, brazing or crimp connections are also possible as mechanical connection methods.
