ModSPOT - AI-based AOI system

ModSPOT is an AI-based, configurable AOI system for inline and online inspection. A gantry system moves a camera to different sections of the test object, ensuring a clear image even for larger components.
Thanks to its native AI integration, ModSPOT covers a wide range of applications. For printed circuit boards, it can inspect THT and SMT components, solder joints, and conformal coatings. In addition, it can identify incorrect screw connections, misplaced cables, and surface damage.
In ModSPOT, inspection programs are based on AI models that can be created using the in-house AI building tool ModOFFICE. The AI models are trained using images taken directly from production. This ensures that even the smallest defects are detected without generating false positives.
Thanks to a selection of different cameras, lighting options, and an optional housing, ModSPOT can be seamlessly integrated into a wide variety of production environments.
Like all Vision4Quality software, ModSPOT is based on the no-code principle. Creating inspection programs, running the programs, and reading production data is intuitive and requires no programming work whatsoever.
