Yesterday, those involved in the state government and business met in our house to extend the Thuringia Sustainability Agreement. Parallel to the extension of the agreement, JAT received what is now the third NAT certificate from the patron of the agreement, Prime Minister Bodo Ramelow.
After a tour of the company, the visitors were able to relax at the end of the event at our food truck. Grit Booth, Managing Director of NAThuringia, and Stephan Preuß planted a stinky tree in our biotope. This tree species contains a lot of nectar, which will certainly make our buzzing lodgers very happy.
The sustainability agreement has existed since 2004 and is a voluntary agreement between the Thuringian state government and Thuringian industry. Many federal states have taken the trend-setting alliance as a model and initiated similar ones.
