Strain Gauge Sensors
Strain gauge sensors - high-precision monitoring of static and dynamic deformations and
changes in material structures.
Load - Strain - Torsion - Bend - Force - Movement
Strain gauges are metallic-electric measuring elements that precisely measure forces, loads, torque, etc. in dynamic and static
processes. Strain gauges operate based on the physical effect by which the electrical resistance of a measuring grid changes proportionally
to the strain exerted on the wire when stretched or compressed.
Long term measurement, continuous or peak monitoring - due to their structural design strain gauge sensors are suitable for permanentely
detecting of movements in minimal dimensions.
Deformations result from the effects of forces and, even at microscopic levels, can have devastating effects on the operation and safety
of machines and systems. Sensors for controlling stretches and compressions permanently and reliably monitor these minimal anomalies,
even in harsh and mobile environments.
The most outstanding feature of the strain gauge sensors from PULSOTRONIC is the precise, custom-fit adaptation of mechanics and
electronics to the customer application. For this type of measurement task it applies: the more precise the adjustment, the more optimal
the signal output. As an add-on feature, we offer flexible parameterization via optional digital interfaces.
