Thanks to their numerous security features, the robust industrial routers of the Secure Line (-S1) are ideal for use in critical infrastructures (KRITIS) and industrial plants with high security requirements.

The S1 routers run a proprietary, hardened, Linux-based operating system, ICR-OS S1. This uses a special firmware branch and receives regular updates. The devices also support router apps for the S1 line.
