One of the core competencies of AMC GmbH is the area of automation with PLC (programmable logic controllers), especially with Siemens end devices. Outdated controls are in use in many areas of research and industry, which can no longer withstand the ever-increasing demands (especially in the age of Industry 4.0), are more and more susceptible to failure and for which the procurement of replacement assemblies is becoming more and more difficult, time-consuming and expensive. Sometimes there is no longer any service personnel who can program such controls. Downtimes caused by the failure of assemblies cause high costs. In research facilities it is necessary to record, evaluate and save many measured values. Often, measured values can only be output via the printer interface; in some cases, measured values are entered manually in tables.
Our task is to replace the existing complete system, or certain parts of it, with modern technology and to adapt the control to the current requirements.
