Driverless transport vehicles in wooden construction

Conventionally, automated guided vehicles (AGVs) are constructed using metal. This approach has several disadvantages in manufacturing and application. Therefore, the metal materials are to be replaced by a composite of sustainable lightweight materials, primarily selected wood-based materials. The goal is to develop, manufacture, and research lightweight AGVs with increased payload capacity, as well as economically and ecologically advantageous performance characteristics.
