The F-Gas Regulation (EU) 2024/573 significantly tightens the requirements for refrigerants. Starting in 2027, a GWP limit of < 150 will apply to cooling units and chillers up to 12 kW.
Rittal is already converting its Blue e+ and Blue e+ S cooling unit and chiller platforms to the future-proof refrigerant R-1234yf. This ensures that you, as an operator, meet the requirements of the F-Gas Regulation well in advance of the ban effective January 1, 2027: EU-compliant, safe, and sustainable.
