About us
The Smart Systems Hub is part of Germany’s nationwide Digital Hub Initiative, launched by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), and is Europe’s largest co-innovation center for industrial automation.
Located at the heart of Europe’s microelectronics ecosystem, the Hub brings together a vibrant network of more than 1,000 partners, including key players such as SAP, ZEISS, Deutsche Telekom MMS and GlobalFoundries, combining extensive expertise in software, hardware and connectivity.
Its mission is to accelerate innovation in industrial environments and bring leading Industry 4.0 technologies into real-world applications.
To achieve this, the Hub provides its customers with access to reference solutions and technologies through its Inno. At the same time, it creates collaborative spaces for industry partners, startups and SMEs and develops concepts, prototypes, minimum viable products (MVPs) and viable business models within a method-driven co-innovation process – in no more than three months.
