PLUG-IN Electronic – Distributor and Systems Partner for Industrial PCs, Test & Measurement, and Connectivity

Since 1990, we have been supplying industrial hardware for automation, machine building, and robotics, as well as R&D, testing, and validation. Our portfolio includes box PCs and panel PCs, edge AI systems, DAQ hardware, industrial interfaces, and gateways. We take a multi-vendor approach, working with manufacturers including NEXCOM/NexAIoT, Advantech, Vecow, Taicenn, CONTEC, SENECA, and ADLINK.

We configure industrial PC systems for specific applications, tailoring the system image, drivers, and BIOS settings to each use case. Before shipment, every system we configure undergoes a functional test and a 24-hour burn-in test under load. We document each delivered configuration, including its bill of materials and serial numbers. We clarify any connectivity requirements involving EtherCAT, PROFINET, Modbus TCP, or IO-Link before an order is placed.

Throughout the project lifecycle, we remain your point of contact: we monitor long-term product availability and hardware revisions and keep you informed of product discontinuations and suitable alternatives. More than 12,000 systems supplied by PLUG-IN are currently deployed in the field. Many of the companies operating them have worked with us for years. From prototype to production, our technical team in Alling near Munich supports you both before and after purchase. Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
