The new VersiBrake Safe LP 480-60 Plc braking device keeps all performance and safety-relevant device values of a motor under control, so that all components are protected as much as possible during braking and maximum operational safety can be guaranteed. The European DIN standards (DIN EN ISO 13849-1:2016-06 / DIN EN 61508-1:2011-02) for the safety of woodworking machines are met. The safety functions include, for example, preventing unintentional start-up due to interference, monitored or controlled shutdown, activation of the (safety) door lock or external standstill monitoring with intelligent standstill detection.

The DC brake with equipment protection VersiBrake Safe offers maximum control and safety for a gentle shutdown. The VersiBrake Safe braking device ensures that motors with efficiency classes IE1 to IE3 are gently, wear-resistant and safely braked. In particular, the relevant specifications or European DIN standards (such as DIN EN 12750: 2013) in compliance with the requirements of category 2, PL c from EN13849-1: 2008 and SIL1 according to DIN EN 61508 for the safety of woodworking machines are met. The safety functions include, for example, the prevention of unintentional startup due to interference, the controlled controlled shutdown, the control of the (protective) door lock or the external standstill monitoring with intelligent standstill detection.
