ROTEX Jaw coupling
For more than 40 years ROTEX is the standard for elastic jaw clutches. Flexible, resilient, axial pluggable and maintenance-free it conveys the torsional moment into tight cross-section and further absorbs the vibrations in the engine reliably. Due to a diversity of models, an adequate clutch can be found for all exigencies. New: by now also with the novel and easy to install DZ cleat panels in a sizable range of performance.

BoWex Curved-tooth gear coupling
BoWex® Curved-tooth gear couplings® are flexible shaft connections for a positive torque transmission and specifically suitable to compensate for axial, radial and angular shaft misalignment.

Hydraulic Components
For more than 50 years KTR has been a supplier to the hydrauclic industry and for almost 40 years a supplier of more than couplings only. Today KTR is one of the most important, leading suppliers of components for hydraulics throughout the world, including products such as: - couplings - bellhousings from aluminium, cast iron, steel and nylon - bellhousings for rotary current motors and servo motors - oil tanks from steel and aluminium as well as accessories - components for noise damping - components for temperature control and monitoring - tank heaters, oil/air coolers and oil/water coolers

ROTEX GS Backlash-free couplings
As a further development of ROTEX the backlash-free ROTEX GS has become the standard for numerous applications in servo technology. The five different spider hardnesses allow to adapt the stiffness and the vibration behaviour individually to every application. The ability for axial plug-in ensures a coupling system with easy assembly. With a large number of various hub designs and types, requests of the customers can be realized easily and fast. Coupling combinations like, for example, combinations with the backlash-free safety system KTR SI can be realized, too. Subject to its coupling design ROTEX GS is supposed to be fail-safe and can therefore be used on critical vertical axes, too.

DATAFLEX Torque measuring shaft
The patented, optoelectronic torque measuring shaft DATAFLEX provides the user with accurate measuring data in combination with an excellent temporal resolution at an unbeatable price. DATAFLEX® visualizes dangerous torque peaks which often cannot be calculated and which can only be determined by field tests. Recently included in the programme has been DATAFLEX 16 for small torques. As an extraordinary feature it provides for high measuring accuracy and has a high-resolution speed sensor the signals of which are available both as rectangular pulses and direct voltage. Ideal is the combination of DATAFLEX with a steel lamina coupling of the series RADEX-N or RADEX-NC.

OAC Oil to Air Coller
For applications in stationary hydraulics KTR offer 10 different types of the high-power OAC oil/air cooler each producing the requested cooling power via heat exchangers in different sizes. Apart from the classical OAC there is the separate cooling unit OPC. In this case an independent cooling system with an integrated pump unit is concerned providing the cooler with oil via an independent circuit. As an option the unit can be equipped with an oil filter. In mobile hydraulics MMC combined coolers are used. In this case different media are comprised in a combined cooling system, the cooling element consisting of several individual elements. This allows to cool, for example, hydraulic oil, gear lubricant oil, charge air and cooling water in one single cooling system. The size of the individual cooling element is each adapted to the application, taking into account the thermal demands and the existing mounting space.

EVOLASTIC highly flexible coupling
High elastic shaft couplings and flange couplings EVOLASTIC® is a highly flexible, non-slip and backlash-free shaft and flange coupling for versatile application in a large number of main and auxiliary drives in mechanical and plant engineering. The elastomer element prestressed to pressure enables the coupling to reduce torsional vibrations in the drive train and smoothly absorb overload shocks while damping structure-borne noise efficiently. In parallel it operates in three dimensions (axially, radially and angularly) compensating for displacements above average. The basic versions distinguish between directly screwed and plug-in types. They cover all functional mounting conditions ranging from the finished individual element through hub/hub and flange/hub applications to the drive shaft. In addition the product portfolio allows for highly individual and flexible mounting options tailor-made for the special application.

SINULASTIC highly flexible flange couplings
SINULASTIC® highly flexible flange couplings for versatile applications KTR SINULASTIC is a modularly structured series of highly flexible flange couplings based on a disk-shaped coupling body. Four practical basic versions with individual properties cover a wide range of applications primarily for diesel engine drives, but also general drive tasks.

ROFLEX failsafe shaft couplingd
Torsionally flexible, failsafe shaft couplings A particular feature of the torsionally flexible and failsafe ROFLEX® shaft coupling is its short design resp. short DBSE [Distance Between Shaft Ends]. Short shaft distance dimensions allow for space-saving power packs. A new option of the proven coupling according to DIN 740 is its combination with a split cam section (ROFLEX SH) which is manufactured via fracture separation, also called cracking. In times of availability, ease of servicing, compact designing and operational safety the properties to be short and easy to service are a vital benefit that every operator appreciates. It goes without saying that the ROFLEX offsets any kind of shaft displacement (axial, radial, angular) reliably while damping shocks and reducing torsional vibrations.

Steel Laminae coupling
All-steel couplings with laminae sets made of high-strength and stainless spring steel. The steel laminae sets were developed based on FEM calculations. Considering the necessary displacement capacity of the steel laminae coupling, we realized the optimum shape with regard to torque transmission and torsional stiffness.

Flange Couplings
Mobile machines mainly use I. C.-engines for their drive. With hydrostatic drives hydraulic pumps are directly coupled, with mobile compressors the compressor unit is directly driven. Both units are connected by a flange coupling. It has to comply with a number of specifications – primarily it has to transmit the power reliably so that the pending operations can be performed as requested. Torsionally stiff flange couplings BoWex FLE-PA: Due to their short design these curved-tooth flange couplings are particularly suitable for mounting to I. C.-engines. Highly flexible flange couplings BoWex-ELASTIC: Highly flexible flange couplings combine the benefits of the renowned BoWex system with the flexibility of a highly flexible coupling in a compact design. Highly flexible flange couplings SINULASTIC: SINULASTIC highly flexible flange couplings cover a wide range of applications primarily for diesel engine drives, but also general drive tasks. One-piece, flexible flange couplings MONOLASTIC: The MONOLASTIC flange couplings enable compensating for radial and angular displacements with extremely low restoring forces via the elastomer part. These flange couplings are particularly suitable for the drive of hydraulic pumps in single or multiple arrangement. Pump mounting flange For mounting hydraulic pumps to the diesel engine KTR supplies mounting flanges sizes SAE-1 to SAE-6 according to the SAE connection dimensions.

Magnetic Couplings
The magnetic couplings of the MINEX range are permanent-magnetic couplings transmitting the torque without contact through magnetic forces between two magnetic rotors. The standard type MINEX-S with containment shroud and magnets positioned radially ensures hermetic separation of driving and driven side in pumps and agitators. As a hysteresis coupling version it is in turn suitable as a wear-free overload protection alternatively to classical safety couplings. With the disk coupling which is optionally available the magnets face each other axially so that torques can be transmitted through plane walls. The transmittable torque can be varied by adjusting the air gap.

Precision joints / Cardan Shafts
Precision joints in various versions acc. to DIN 808. Precision joints consist of a joint centre piece and two hubs that are interlinked by straps. Bearing of the joint heads is made by plain or needle bearing selected based on the kind of application. This bearing allows the precision joints (single joints) to compensate for significantly larger angular displacements compared to other coupling types. Double joints that have two bearings are able to offset radial displacement in addition. Precision joints / cardan shafts in an extendable version are able to offset axial displacement in addition to angular and radial displacement.

Torque limiters / overload couplings
Torque limiters (overload couplings) are vital components in the drive train. They help to avoid longer downtimes and expensive repairs along with the resulting costs. In case of overload resulting from a breakdown in the operation of the plant, the torque-limiting systems (torque limiters) uncouple driving and driven side while protecting the drive train from larger damages. That is why they are mostly referred to as safety couplings. Overload couplings operate following various operating principles: The frictionally engaged, load-holding torque limiters (RUFLEX) and the positive-locking, load-separating ball engagement couplings (e. g. SYNTEX and KTR-SI). Our range of torque limiters (overload couplings) includes torque limiters (RUFLEX), overload couplings (KTR-SI) and backlash-free safetycouplings (SYNTEX, SYNTEX-NC and KTR-SI Compact).

MONITEX BT Drehmomentsensor
The MONITEX BT torque sensor is a torque measuring coupling hub for measuring torque and speed. MONITEX BT is a ROTEX coupling hub with an integrated measuring system for measuring torque and speed. Due to its compact design the system is able to replace a standard ROTEX hub in many cases while it is easy to assemble. The inductive energy supply is achieved by an inductive head installed radially to the coupling in a distance of 10 mm at the maximum. Once the system is switchen on, the measured data of torque and speed are sent by MONITEX BT via Bluetooth and can be received via the free MONITEX-BT app by a smartphone, a tablet or a computer.
