Tool changer TK - the compact standard
The IPR tool changer series TK enables the fully automatic change of tools of up to 800 kg with a robot or gantry. We offer different graduated sizes for all load ranges in order to correctly dimension different applications, to realize the required space requirements and to offer graduated price scales. The excellent quality of the TK series ensures high availability and thus smooth operation in the production process.

Tool changer TK-SQ for heavy-duty
The IPR tool changer series TK-SQ enables the fully automatic change of tools of up to 1250 kg / 2756 lbs with a robot or gantry. It offers different graduated sizes for all load ranges in order to correctly dimension different applications, to realize the space requirements and to offer graduated price scales. The excellent quality of the TK-SQ series ensures high availability and thus smooth use in the production process. In addition, a double safety interlock prevents the tool side from loosening in the event of a pressure drop. For lower handling weights or limited installation space, our TK series is suitable.

X/Y axis compensation modules
IPR compensation modules increase the productivity of automated production lines by reliably compensating tolerances in the X, Y and Z directions. The compensation takes place via crossed linear guides. These elements prevent jamming and clamping of the workpieces during loading and unloading and thus protect the robot from premature wear.

Compliance wrists
IPR compliance wrists correct positioning errors during assembly or when inserting workpieces into machining fixtures or workpiece carriers. These corrections are made using specially developed elastomer elements. This prevents jamming and tilting of the workpieces, minimizes joining forces and torques and protects the robot. Depending on the application, options such as overload protection, pneumatic locking and / or angle of rotation limitation are available.

Z-axis compliance units
IPR Z-axis compensation units are used to compensate for height differences when handling parts. There is also the possibility of detecting different height positions. In this way, insertion and extraction forces can be controlled and collisions avoided. Z-axis compensation units can be combined with X-Y compensation units quickly and easily.

Load limiters
IPR's load limiters increase the productivity of automated manufacturing plants by reliably detecting collisions of a tool or workpiece with the environment. The robot and tool sides are held in position pneumatically and form a rigid unit under normal working conditions. The triggering forces or torques are continuously preset via the set air pressure. In the event of an overload, the tool side yields. A sensor detects the deflection and transmits a signal to the robot controller, which stops the entire unit. Once the error has been rectified and the tool has been returned to its vertical position, the unit can be centered manually in its initial position via two integrated adjustment screws.

Universal parallel gripper CGS2
The universal gripper IPR CGS2 is suitable for a wide range of applications and is ideal for handling weights from 0.4 kg / 0.88 lb to 96 kg / 212 lb with force-locking gripping. The 2-jaw parallel gripper CGS2 enables a very high permissible moment load due to a maximum guide length of the base jaws. This means that long fingers can be used. In addition, the T-slot guidance makes the gripper insensitive to collisions and impacts, and it is particularly protected against jamming in the case of strongly protruding gripper fingers. Thanks to the lubrication pockets integrated into the sides of the jaws, permanent storage of lubricating grease and thus maintenance-free application is ensured. In addition, commercially available third-party sensors can be attached and used in a process-safe manner.

Universal centric gripper CGS3
The new 3-jaw universal centric gripper CGS3 is the perfect addition to the CGS portfolio. Just like the 2-jaw universal parallel gripper CGS2, the CGS3 series is universally applicable and, thanks to 8 sizes with 90 different versions, offers the right gripper for almost any application. A robust T-slot sliding guide in combination with lubricant pockets in the housing as well as compatibility with any commercially available magnetic and inductive sensor make the new CGS3 centric gripper an attractive component for robotic applications. Round workpieces weighing up to 35 kg can be handled without any problems - and with a finger length of up to 280 mm.

Angular gripper WGS
For fast gripping processes in which various workpieces are handled chaotically, we now offer the universal WGS angular gripper series. With two jaws, an opening angle of 30° (total) and optional gripping force retention by spring, the WGS angular grippers fit seamlessly into any application. The infinitely adjustable stroke limitation enables use even in tight installation spaces. Various magnetic and inductive sensors ensure constant process control. Thanks to proven lever-bone mechanics, the WGS series is particularly resistant to dirt, crashes and impacts and is therefore especially suitable for demanding applications.

Small parts gripper MGS
Modular assembly automation with its interlinked processes and shortest throughput times places high demands on the grippers installed. This is where our new MGS series shows its strength. The smallest electronic components, screws and much more are gripped securely with the highest precision - with a net weight of only 25 g in the smallest size! The ground-in sliding guide ensures consistently high reliability of the gripping process, while the optional gripping force retention by spring protects the components in case of loss of compressed air. With optionally available sensor kits, you have full control over the process at all times.

The new tool changer product family TKX
We have reached a new level in robotic tool changers with the unique ToolChanger3 modular system. Pneumatic, electric and manual – all three drive types can be used with the new TKX product family. Each robot side is compatible with the uniform tool side, offering customers the greatest possible flexibility. The uncompromising design fits seamlessly into modern plants and, thanks to the polygonal shape, enables modular attachment of transfer modules. Proven functional principle – pneumatic changing A pneumatically actuated tool changer is often used for fully automated systems. We have improved both the locking kinematics and the internal air feed-throughs to meet the increasing demands for high-performance components for modern industrial robots. Changing with 24 V The electrically operated tool changer TKE shines above all with its low interference contour and extensive accessories. With the TKE, you can consistently electrify your automation. With a consistent end-to-end electric drive solution for the entire robot cell, the system is more sustainable and efficient due to the electric drives. Another advantage is the simpler installation and equipment of the plant. Complex hosing and valve terminals are no longer required. The integrated self-locking via the locking kinematics as well as a sensor query of the locking increase the customer benefit in practical use. Changing in the blink of an eye The perfect complement to automatically operated tool changers is the TKM manual tool changer. The tool side is locked and unlocked manually with minimal effort via a push lever with integrated locking mechanism. This means that no external energy supply is required, while at the same time simplifying the changing process considerably. Particularly for end-of-arm tooling that is changed infrequently but regularly and therefore does not require automation, the TKM series tool changers are ideally suited.

Finger changing system FWS
FWS: Manual changing of gripper fingers within seconds. With our parallel grippers of the CGS2 series, you are well equipped for any application: Thanks to 189 standard variants with gripper force retention, dust cover or in high-temperature design, the gripper can be used universally and flexibly. And best of all: With our new FWS finger changing system, you can change your gripper fingers manually within seconds. One turn with the tool is all it takes to release the specially developed locking kinematics. The FWS also offers high-quality corrosion protection and builds up to 60% lower than comparable products.

Electric-pneumatic gripper RPW-Hybrid
The IPR Hybrid parallel gripper combines pneumatics and electrics and provides the best of both worlds: Full pneumatic gripping force meets precise pre-positioning and stroke sensing by the electric motor. This enables your robot to reliably move even complex geometries that previously required several work steps. Precise pre-positioning of the gripper jaws significantly minimizes cycle times, while simultaneously applying a gripping force of up to 1,550 N thanks to two compressed air pistons. Various electrical interfaces such as EtherCat, Ethernet/IP, digital I/O, etc. enable the gripper to communicate directly with any robot controller or PLC.

Rotation compensation unit RT
Position and orientation tolerances around the Z-axis will no longer be an issue in the future - with the RT series from IPR, you can easily compensate for an angular offset of up to 5°. Locking is possible in both central and deflected position.

Rotation and X/Y compensation unit RT-KA
Do you need angle of rotation compensation with additional degrees of freedom in the X and Y directions? The RT-KA series enables this combined compensation with a significantly reduced installation height and lower weight at the same time. Centric locking is also possible here.
