WALL IE – Industrial NAT Gateway/Firewall
Secure communication and simple addressing – WALL IE protects your automation network against unauthorized access. Due to the individual configuration, the firewall can be easily adapted to the requirements of the respective machine network. The NAT operating mode serves the forwarding of the data traffic between various IPv4 networks. It enables the address translation via NAT and uses packet filters for the limitation of access to the automation network located behind. In the bridge operating mode, WALL IE acts as a layer 2 switch. In contrast with normal switches, however, packet filtering is also possible in this operating mode. This means that the restriction of access to individual areas of your network can be achieved without having to use different networks for this purpose. – Low effort for IP integration in higher-level networks (NAT) – Integration of series machines with the same IP addresses in the production network – NAT (Basic NAT, NAPT und Portforwarding) – SNAT: No adjustment of the network configuration in the LAN network necessary – Access restriction through packet filters: IPV4 addresses, protocol (TCP/UDP/ICMP), ports, MAC addresses – Reduction of the network load through the filtering of broadcasts and multi-casts – Quick and easy configuration via a responsive web interface – Easily integrate same IP subnets through port forwarding (NAPT) – Reduced to the essential functionality – Import and export of the configuration – DHCP-Server (LAN) / DHCP-Client (WAN) – DNS-Server (LAN) – User administration – Space-saving industrial design for DIN rail

PN/EtherNetIP Coupler
With the PN/EtherNetIP Coupler, a simple and uncomplicated connection of a PROFINET machine to an EtherNet/IP machine is possible. The PN/EtherNetIP Coupler allows data transmission between a PROFINET controller and an EtherNet/IP PLC. PN/MQTT Coupler
The MQTT protocol has become established in recent years as a simple transmission protocol for messages in the IoT world. MQTT stands for "Message Queue Telemetry Transport Protocol" and is an OASIS standard. The MQTT protocol always uses a central broker for communication between devices, which receives messages from, for example, a sensor and forwards them to interested devices, such as a control unit. When a sensor sends data to the broker, it is called a "publish". If a device needs data, it must subscribe to the broker ("Subscribe"). The broker delivers the data to all subscribers when new data has arrived from the publisher. With the PN/MQTT Coupler it is possible to transfer values between a PROFINET machine (PLC) and a MQTT broker. It is possible to send values from the PLC via PROFINET to a broker ("Publish") as well as to subscribe values from a MQTT broker and receive them in the PLC via PROFINET ("Subscribe"). The integration into the PLC engineering tool is enabled by a GSDML file, an extra configuration software is not necessary. All settings for the MQTT connection can be done on the web page of the device. MQTT brokers can be connected locally in the own network ("On premise") as well as via the internet in the cloud. Direct integration into the PLC puts full control of the data exchange with the IoT world in the hands of the programmer.

FLEXtra STAGE PROFINET-Switch, managed, 16-Port, 1 GBit
The managed FLEXtra PROFINET switch 16 port can be used to network PROFINET components with 100 Mbps as well as Ethernet nodes with up to 1000 Mbps. Thus, communication from the control level and the machine or the mixing of Ethernet and PROFINET components in one switch is possible. PROFINET prioritization according to Conformance Class B of the machine components is always guaranteed. One of the most important functions of a PROFINET switch is the prioritization of PROFINET telegram traffic in the machine network. The managed switch can distinguish whether the telegram is a web request, an FTP file transfer, a media stream, or a PROFINET telegram. In the event of a high transmission load, the important telegrams can thus be prioritized to prevent telegram losses of the machine components. The supported PROFINET protocols, such as LLDP, DCP or diagnostic alarms, can be easily parameterized and managed. In addition to PROFINET, functions such as SNMP, NTP, VLAN, port mirroring, QoS/CoS mapping and extensive statistics are available for managing the Ethernet network. If required, the configuration can be saved on an SD card or loaded for commissioning. The practical design with the intelligent arrangement of the Ethernet sockets saves space in the control cabinet. The status LEDs on the top of the FLEXtra PROFINET switch, which are always clearly visible, allow for easy diagnostics even when fully wired. In addition, the FLEXtra PROFINET switch supports port control via inputs and port status indication via outputs. Bits in the PROFINET-IO image of the switch can be used as inputs and outputs as well as 4 digital inputs and 2 digital outputs with 24V. The assignment and the function of the inputs and outputs can be configured via the GSDML file.
