The ASSMANN WSW Group is well known as a global system provider for standard and customer-tailored connectors, cable assemblies, heat sinks and assembly services. The ASSMANN WSW Group has more than 50 years of experience in the electromechanical and the thermal management market.
The products are available internationally through a global distribution network. The products of the ASSMANN WSW Group are used in both the industrial and automotive sectors. The BCS Group GmbH, as 100% owner of the ASSMANN WSW Group, has mainly produced cable assemblies and lighting technology for the automotive industry since 1993.

Cable Assemblies - capabilities for our customized solutions
Creating high-quality cable assemblies requires extensive knowledge of connectors, cables and processing technologies. The ability to meet the technical demands of the customer applications in terms of the final cable assembly and to use the most cost-effective manufacturing methodology, based on a choice of various manufacturing locations in Eastern Europe and Asia, makes ASSMANN WSW the partner that gives its customers a significant advantage. ASSMANN WSW supplies a wide range of standard cable assemblies from stock and specializes in the production of customized cable assemblies based on common industry standards. In addition to using our own connectors in industrial cable assemblies, competitive products from wellknown manufacturers can also be used on customer request to ensure our cable assemblies can be used worldwide by our customers, our manufacturing facilities in Asia and Slovakia are UL certified. The array of cable assemblies required and demanded is just as great as the variety of customers from the individual industry sectors. The requirements placed on cable assemblies have grown in line with the ever-increasing quality demands of the industry. Several technical parameters must be taken into account to ensure optimal signal transmission. EMI/EMC Frames for shielding – the Electro Magnetic Compatibility
The EMC shielding EM shielding's are used to protect against electromagnetic emissions, even directly on the PCB, to ensure reliable operation. A suitable shielding design can ensure the reliable operation of RFID applications. For more complex circuit designs and applications, the shielding frame can also be constructed in several sections, with different cells, to ensure that the individual components are shielded directly on the PCB. The shielding not only protects against “incoming radiation,” but also prevents radiation from being emitted. An appropriate shielding design is therefore important to ensure the long-term reliability of the applications. The EMI Design EM shielding's for electronic housings, shielding frames for printed circuit boards, or even EM frames for testing rooms can feature different designs. One-piece frames for simpler applications, which are soldered directly onto the PCB, are used just as much as multi-piece variants made up of a frame and cover. With multi-piece variants, it is important to ensure that the connection between the frame and cover is as even and as large as possible. Only the best possible connection in the right design will achieve a correspondingly good shielding effect. The material used for the shielding is also an important factor that must be taken into account for the shielding effect, as different materials have different shielding effects. What is a Skiving Heatsink? In the skiving process, a fin structure is cut from a solid block of metal – usually aluminum or copper – by means of a precision machining process (skiving).
