ACI Laser: Your partner for customer-specific marking solutions
ACI Laser GmbH from Grammetal OT Nohra near Weimar (Thuringia, Germany) develops and manufactures marking lasers for efficient and precise material marking in the industrial sector.
Due to the great importance of the full traceability of products, the question of the ideally suitable marking option arises for industrial users more and more often. Users are primarily looking for solutions that are particularly precise, durable and quick to implement. ACI Laser offers a wide range of marking lasers for this purpose which cover the entire wavelength spectrum. In addition to Nd: YAG lasers, the product portfolio includes modern fiber lasers, proven CO2 lasers as well as UV lasers and green lasers.
System solutions with a modular structure
ACI protective housings enable laser systems to be operated in accordance with laser protection class 1. No further safety devices are required. The workstations can be combined with all ACI laser systems. Thus, depending on the application requirements, they are equally suitable for processing metals, plastics, ceramics, foils or glass and much more.
In the industrial environment, the use of vision systems for image capture and processing has increased in importance. In accordance with the variety of objects to be marked, ACI Laser offers customized camera solutions with a wide variety of lighting scenarios, which are an important tool for the user to control and optimize processes. Code reading systems for reading back and verifying directly marked codes complete the product portfolio.
User-friendly laser software
When purchasing an ACI laser system, users benefit from the advantages of the marking software Magic Mark V3. The intuitive laser operating software controls the entire laser system and enables marking content such as geometries, texts or codes to be created with one-click. The simple operation of the software allows even inexperienced PC users to quickly create complex marking content. In addition to the extensive graphic functions, the software offers a Visual Basic programming module that, above all, facilitates integration into production lines. Another added value for the customer is the control by external .NET programs. Thanks to these concepts, even the most complicated data communications can be implemented easily and customer-specifically.
Individual customer care
ACI Laser stands out from the market with its individual customer support. When selecting the right technology for the customer, the best solution is always found in close contact with the technical sales staff. Special emphasis is placed on professional and individual advice as well as competent and prompt service. Depending on customer specifications with regard to time, material and marking content, detailed material marking tests are carried out in the in-house application laboratory and the customer is ultimately accompanied through the entire process in the search for the ideal laser system. ACI Laser has set itself the task of offering its customers comprehensive and long-term support: from the first sample marking on the workpiece to well beyond the purchase of the laser system.
Products & services

Integration laser DFL Ventus Marker Industrial Design
The industrial version of the compact DFL Ventus Marker laser system has been specially designed for use in production lines in industrial environments. Its housing is protected against the ingress of dust and water splashing against it, and the versatility of this housing means that it can be installed with ease wherever needed. With a choice between a 19-inch built-in version and a tabletop version, this laser system is available in a range of power classes and beam qualities, depending on the application. The Business Fibre series offers users a choice of power output levels between 20 and 100 W.

Automation solution Workstation Robotic
The robot, which is integrated into the laser station, is able to rapidly execute complex motion sequences when handling objects. The robot's utility is not limited to just laser marking; other handling processes can also be integrated into the station.

Foil handling system Foil Star
The Foil Star is designed for producing high-quality, permanent laser markings on special films and labels in cases where it is not possible to mark the material directly using a laser beam.

Lasermarking station Workstation Professional
The Workstation Professional is an incredibly versatile protective housing that has been designed to satisfy a wide range of requirements. The Workstation Professional can be combined with any ACI laser system. This means that it is suitable for working with materials such as metals, plastics, ceramics, films and glass. Typically, this system is used for large-scale production as well as large and heavy components.

Fiber laser DFL Ventus Marker
The DFL Ventus Marker from the Business Fiber product series is ideal for marking metals. This high-performance fibre laser offers variable pulse widths for challenging applications. Its exceptional beam quality obtains outstanding marking results. All its optical, electronic and mechanical components are integrated in a compact housing. The laser head can be detached as required. The Business Fibre series offers users a choice of power output levels between 20 and 70 W.

Rotary indexing table Workstation RT400
The RT400 workstation was developed for the almost uninterrupted marking of workpieces. The RT400 can be loaded and unloaded during an active marking process, thus enabling time-saving laser marking in series production. Equipped with two loading positions, the rotary indexing table rotates into the processing positions in 180-degree increments. During the laser marking, an article that has already been marked can be removed and the workstation loaded with a new one. This almost uninterrupted labeling reduces the cycle time for the user considerably. It can be operated effortlessly with one hand using a touch button. An integrated light curtain offers additional user protection. If this is triggered, the movement of the rotary indexing table is interrupted. If you press the start button again, the movement will continue. A transparent standing wall with a laser protection window allows optimal monitoring of the marking process. You can switch between manual and automatic mode using a key switch. In automatic mode, it is therefore also possible to load the turntable with a robot. In addition to a side door for set-up purposes, the RT400 also has a programmable Z-axis, which enables workpieces of different heights to be labeled. The selection of the appropriate marking laser is customer- and application-specific.

Ultra short pulse laser DFL Brevis Marker
The aim of marking a workpiece is to create a marking that is permanent, high-contrast and high-resolution. In addition, the material should only be subjected to minimal stress or have its properties altered. These requirements are optimally met by the laser systems in the Business Fiber USP series. Compared to comparable systems, the ultrashort pulse laser DFL Brevis Marker guarantees: short pulses and very high pulse peak power thanks to ultrashort pulse laser technology (USP laser technology) combined with the advantages of a fiber laser, extended application possibilities for high-contrast markings on plastics, burr-free, dimensionally accurate deep engravings on tools or jewelry as well as transparent materials, high quality engravings with high cutting edge quality and minimal heat exposure.
